Orange County United Way is bringing the eBus*, a self-powered mobile technology center, to three Orange County locations, Costa Mesa, Buena Park and Westminster, this March.
The one-of-a-kind eBus serves as a hub for free tax preparation assistance to help more Orange County residents keep their hard-earned money. Staffed with IRS-certified Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) preparers, taxpayers will receive quality tax preparation and help in filing all necessary documents correctly, securely and with ease.
Households that earned less than $60,000 in 2018 are eligible for the free tax filing services. For households earning less than $25,000, the expanded California Earned Income Tax Credit (CalEITC), may qualify individuals for hundreds or even thousands of extra dollars in their refund. This year, the age eligibility threshold has been lowered to age 18.
Appointments are required and can be made by calling: (888) 434-8248
